Renowned Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has been blessed with a child.

The diminutive actor took to his Instagram page @chineduikedieze to make the announcement, although he did not disclose the sex of the child.

With a photo attachment of the baby, he wrote: “UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN.”

 

 Recall that Aki has been married to his wife, Nneoma Nwaijah since 2011.

Video vixens are not prostitutes, says renowned videographer Clarence Peters

 

RENOWNED music video director Clarence Peter has cleared the air on the matter relating to the women he uses in his video shoots following the assumptions that the women used are prostitutes.

In a recent interview, he said that people should stop drawing conclusions. According to him, it is wrong for anyone to draw conclusions and that any right thinking person should desist from such.

He was quoted saying:

“I have heard people say that the ladies who appear in the videos we shoot are prostitutes. I think that is wrong because these ladies work hard for the money they earn.

“I can’t speak for others but I can tell you that these girls work very hard to add beauty to the job we do. That they appear the way they do does not mean they are harlots, who sleep with people to make money. For crying out loud, dancing is a big deal and you really need to know what they go through on set and they are usually stressed just to make sure the concept is not defeated.

“As far as I am concerned,these ladies earn better than their mates who work in banks. I was told that those who work in banks earn between N100,000 and N200,000 every month. You don’t want to know how much the ladies charge per shoot.”

Sauti Sol singer denies driving drunk after being involved in accident

 

SAUTI Sol group member, Savara Mudigi has dismissed claims that he was driving under the influence of alcohol during a minor accident that he was involved in on Thursday morning.

The incident took place in the wee hours of the morning where the singer says he was on his way to the studio. He says his car and that of another motorist just scratched each other, and the two of them were able to come into an agreement and resolve the situation.

“I was not drunk you can even check with the police records, my car only sustained a small scratch since it was not a big impact. I do not know why the public might want to blow it out of proportions and going further ahead to post lies on social media, without getting their facts correct,” says Savara.

This comes after one social media user suggested that Savara was driving under the influence.

1. Dinner Dates

You might find them overrated or even a chore at times (all that dressing up can be a pain). However, date nights are the perfect way to put in some effort into an otherwise monotonous relationship and spice up the game. Plan some great dates, dress up, send him surprise gifts and simply have fun.
2. Flirt More

With each other of course. You know that amazing “butterflies in your stomach” warm feeling you would get each time your eyes met across the room? Recreate that kind of magic again. Tease him in front of his friends, grab his hand when he is least expecting it, hug him in the middle of a conversation … just make things magical again.
3. Make Space

Figuratively and literally, make space for each other. Put him high up there on your priority list (don’t forget to call him because you were in meetings all day long), give him his space at home (let him sit on the sofa and binge watch Netflix if he wants) and watch the difference. Once you start treating each other as priorities, and not as people who can be pushed around because they’ll understand, you’ll automatically see a shift in your relationship.
4. Don’t Demand Perfection

Because then you are setting him and yourself up for failure. No one is perfect and you both are bound to mess up every once in a while. So forgive yourself and him and learn to let go.
5. Stop Comparing

There are always going to be a million people who seem to be having a better relationships than you. Their Facebook profiles are more fun, their status updates seems like they are having a ball … but are they really? Stop comparing your relationship and just have fun with what you have.

CHAD decided to close the border with Libya to worry fighting

         
    Chad has shut down its border along with Libya and is now planning to deploy troops to the area in an effort to prevent infiltration of militant fighters fleeing conflict in its war-torn northern neighbour.

Chad worried thatA fighters will flee south across the border with groups that have converged towards the south of Libya, just adjacent to Northen parts of the country.

   Libya was plunge into war in a 2011 uprising that toppled Muammar Gaddafi. The Unity government has been successful in ousting the Islamic State from its former stronghold of Sirte, but has failed to take control of the already captured regions..

   Chad’s army has become one of the region’s strongest, and it now plays a key role in efforts to combat Boko Haram – an Islamic State affiliate group – in neighbouring Nigeria. It also confronted attacks by the Islamist militant group on its own soil.        

Diamond Platnumz finally responds to Darassa CMG’s claims that he shouldn’t call himself Simba and that’s he’s using Witchcraft to finish him

A question that has been ringing in people’s heads for a while now, is Darassa CMG seriously taking shots at Diamond Platnumz- Africa’s main man? And if yes, why? Is it because he has one big hit single? Or is just a ploy to use Diamond’s name in gaining popularity? A lot of artists have done that before.

Well, I reached out to Diamond’s management, Babu Tale just to be specific and Darassa may be way over himself. But before we let you in on the juice, let’s start from the beginning.

It started off when sometime last year Darassa CMG dropped a song alongside Ben Pol called Muziki. It became an instant receiving massive airplay across the board. What however caught most people’s attention are the lyrics in the song which seemed to take a jab at Baba Tiffah. Here they are:

At that time everyone took a step back and assumed the guy was just doing his thing so nobody bothered, they went back to enjoying the song. That was up until Darassa CMG went for an interview in one of the popular TV stations and he was asked that lingering question. This is what he responded:

“Ningekuwa Diamond nisingejiita simba, ninavyomuona Diamond ni zaidi ya Simba, kuna watu wanaua simba, simba, kajichanganya, kaingia kijijini kapotea, Diamond kwa kitu anachofanya ni zaidi ya simba, angeweza kujiita jina lingine lolote kubwa, kafanya vitu vingi sana” He said.

Witchdoctor performing voodoo on Darassa CMG

From there on we knew it was on. Then pictures emerged of a witchdoctor performing acts of black magic apparently to stop Darassa’s popularity and facilitate his downfall and people couldn’t help but wonder if Diamond and his Wasafi crew were behind those acts.

Well, exclusively on Ghafla and straight from the horses’ mouth. Diamond’s management is not aware of all this hullabaloo, they are not aware anybody has any beef with them. “Ati beef? Mh ndio nakusikia wewe. Sisi atuna matatizo na mtu yeyote” Babu Tale made it clear.

It looks Diamond and the whole Wasafi fraternity is not keen on giving Darassa his much sought after 15 seconds of fame and they would rather concentrate on the hustle.
