Lupita Nyong’o is currently one of the biggest actresses in the world. However, her journey to success has not been an easy one. She had to start small so as to get to her current position in the entertainment industry. Looking at her now, one would easily think that she was handed everything on a silver platter.

Lupita recently revealed that she did a few odd jobs before her breakthrough. She was an intern at Mira Nair’s production Company and was given the task of serving Nair with her favorite cup of tea. She revealed this while accepting an honor at the recently concluded Elle women in Hollywood Awards.
“When I was an intern at Nair’s production company in 2001, I was tasked with serving her favorite cup of Tazo chai.“Then one day one day I was given the most significant assignment for the first-ever certificate of attendance for Mira’s film school.” She revealed
Lupita also recalls her first time to hand Mira Mira the draft certificate, she only took one look at it and she frowned but she decided to repeat the research on what the film school stands for and tried again.
“I decided to get bold with my take on an attendance certificate.” she mentioned
